Deputy Consul-General Yamaguchi Attended Lecture at the Denver Art Museum (April 12, 2016)

On Tuesday, April 12th, a lecture that was officially supported by the Consulate was held at the Denver Art Museum in conjunction with the Samurai exhibit that is currently open and approximately 120 persons attended. For the lecture, Deputy Consul-General Yamaguchi gave the opening remarks where he stated that he hopes the lecture will provide an understanding of Japanese culture. After the remarks, Mr. Andreas Marks, a curator at the Minneapolis Institute of Art lectured on the specialty and artistic beauty of Japanese armor using pictures and other visual aids. The lecture was concluded with a lively Q&A session.
