Donations for Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief
We would like to express our deepest sympathies to the victims and their families of the earthquake that struck the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1, 2024 (referred to as the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake"). The Consulate-General of Japan in Denver will begin accepting donations to support the victims of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake as follows.
(If you wish to send donations directly to the Ishikawa Prefectural Government or the Japanese Red Cross Society, please see specific directions regarding the financial institution below).
1. Acceptance of Donations at the Consulate-General of Japan in Denver
(1) In-person at our office (1225 17th Street, Suite 3000, Denver, CO 80202)
We will accept donations of cash or check only
・Please make checks payable to: Consulate-General of Japan
Donations will be accepted at the entrance area of the Consulate-General of Japan in Denver starting Monday, January 22, 2024.
・Hours: Weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (excluding holidays)
・Please inform the staff at the entrance that you have come to make donations for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake relief.
(2) Donations by mail
We will only accept checks through the mail.

・Please write whether you are donating to the "Government of Japan" or the "Japanese Red Cross Society" at the end of the memo section of the check.
(NOTE: Regardless of which organization you donate to, all donations received will be distributed to the victims of the disaster as a relief donation)
