Japan Hour at the 33rd Annual United States Space Symposium (April 4, 2017)

     On Tuesday, April 4th, Consul General Hirakoba attended a public relations “Japan Hour” event which was jointly sponsored by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) at the 33rd Annual United States Space Symposium in Colorado Springs. Consul General Hirakoba appreciated many participants to join the event and he expressed in his remarks to attendees his hope that the event would be an opportunity to strengthen business relations between Japan, the U.S., and other countries.
     The annual United States Space Symposium was established in 1984 for the purpose of bringing together global space-related organizations to exchange information concerning the future of the aerospace industry. In total, ten companies from Japan participated in various lectures and technological exhibitions at the symposium this year.
