Minoru Yasui Colorado Centennial Celebration (October 23, 2016)

On October 23, 2016, Consul General and Mrs. Ito attended the Centennial Birthday Celebration of Minoru Yasui, held at the Tivoli on Auraria Campus in Denver.
In remarks at the event, Consul General Ito offered congratulations for the event, expressed the importance of Mr. Yasui’s contributions toward the advancement of Japanese Americans and current American society, and respect for the contribution by his family to carry on with Mr. Yasui’s legacy.
Approximately 250 attendees including Japanese Americans attended the event.
