Consul-General Takeuchi hosts Conferment Ceremony for Mr. Davis Begay (January 15, 2020)

     On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, a conferment ceremony for the 2019 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals was held at Albuquerque, New Mexico where Consul-General Midori Takeuchi presented the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon to Mr. Davis Begay, Honorary Consul of Japan in Albuquerque.

     Mr. Begay’s family, friends, officers from City of Albuquerque, Albuquerque Sasebo Sister City Committee members attended the ceremony. Consul-General Takeuchi gave the congratulatory remarks and presented his decoration and certificate to Mr. Begay, after which Mr. Begay gave his reply address.
