Consul-General Takeuchi Attended the 2020 Asian Chamber of Commerce Gala To-Go (July 17, 2020)

On Friday, July 17th, Consul-General TAKEUCHI Midori attended the 2020 Colorado Asian Chamber of Commerce (ACC) Gala To-Go. The ACC provided 97 to-go dinner boxes prepared by local Asian restaurants for medical staff members of Denver Health who have been caring for COVID-19 patients, and Consul-General Takeuchi joined donation ceremonies hosted by ACC.
Further, to assist area businesses ACC members and others purchased 270 boxed dinners for curbside pickup from local Asian restaurants, which have been strongly impacted by the economic slowdown caused by COVID-19. Consul-General Takeuchi joined as a volunteer to help with packing dinners and delivery to curbside pickup patrons.
Later In the evening, the ACC annual Gala was held online with Zoom videoconferencing instead of an in-person gathering, with streaming video messages presented by Consul-General Takeuchi, Colorado Governor Jared Polis, and Director General Jerry Chang of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Denver.
