Consul-General Takeuchi hosts Conferment Ceremony for former Professor, Dr. Joyce C. Lebra (August 27, 2021)

     On Friday, August 27, a conferment ceremony for the 2021 Spring Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals was held where Consul-General TAKEUCHI Midori presented the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon to Dr. Joyce C. Lebra, former Professor of History at the University of Colorado Boulder. The ceremony was held in the assembly hall of the senior care facility where Dr. Lebra currently resides. Consul-General Takeuchi delivered the congratulatory remarks and presented the decoration and certificate, which was followed by words of gratitude from Dr. Lebra.
