Japanese exchanges event at the Aurora Global Fest 2022 (August 20, 2022)

On Saturday, August 20th, the Consulate-General of Japan in Denver and the Japanese Business Association of the Rockies (JBAR) participated in the Aurora Global Fest 2022 with a Japanese PR booth to promote Japanese culture and economy.

Around 1,000 people visited the Japanese PR booth, experiencing Japanese culture through making their own uchiwa (Japanese fan) and origami (Japanese paper craft), as well as learning more about the JBAR member companies, tourism in Japan, and the JET program. Denver Taiko showcased their Japanese drum performance, offering a good opportunity for the visitors to get a better understanding of traditional Japanese culture
