Consul-General MIKAMI visited the Topaz Internment Camp and the Topaz Museum in UT (October 5, 2022)

On Wednesday, October 5, Consul-General MIKAMI Yoichi visited Delta, Utah. During his trip, CG Mikami visited the Topaz Internment Camp site, where Japanese-Americans were held during World War II, and Ms. Jane Beckwith, President of the Topaz Museum Board, provided a tour. CG Mikami also visited the Topaz Museum. Later in the day, CG MIKAMI had an opportunity to exchange opinions with representatives and visitors from and to the Topaz Museum. The visit proved to be a valuable one.
