Screening of "Amache Rose," a film about the former Amache camp (June 13, 2023)

On June 13, the Denver Botanic Gardens hosted a screening of "Amache Rose," a film on the former Amache camp in Granada, Colorado, where Japanese Americans were interned during World War II.


The screening was attended by Mr. Brian Vogt, CEO of the Denver Botanic Garden, Mr. Michael Imhoff, Board Chair, Ms. Mary Chinn, Vice Chair, Mr. Ron Otsuka, Trustees, and Mr. Richard Clark, Trustees Emeriti. From the Consulate-General of Japan in Denver, Consul-General Mikami, and others attended.


After the screening, the participants visited the Japanese Garden, the Bill Hosokawa Memorial Bonsai Pavilion, and the Tea House at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
