Mirai Generation Leadership Program sponsored by the Sakura Foundation (July 22, 2023)

On Saturday, July 22nd, an event sponsored by the Sakura Foundation was held at the Children’s Museum by inviting the members of the 2023 Class of the “Mirai Generation Leadership Program” (MGLP).

The members of the 2023 MLGP are Ms. Tiffany Lin, Mr. Drew Matsushima, and Ms. Maile Cutter.

At the event, Sakura Foundation Executive Director Stacey Shigaya gave a welcome speech and an explanation of the program, followed by a “key note” speech by former Sakura Foundation Executive Director Gary Yamashita. The Consulate-General of Japan was also invited, and Consul-General MIKAMI Yoichi delivered remarks.

After greetings from each MGLP alumni, past MGLP participants joined in and had a fun gathering, making for a very lively event.
