Consul-General MIKAMI hosts Conferment Ceremony for Mr. Gilbert K Asakawa (September 19, 2023)

On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, a ceremony for the 2023 Spring Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals was held at the residence of the Consul-General. The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays was presented by Consul-General MIKAMI Yoichi to Mr. Gilbert K Asakawa, Chair of the Denver Takayama Sister City Committee and Former President of the Mile High Chapter of JACL (Japanese American Citizens League).

After the presentation of the decoration and certificate, Mr. Gilbert K Asakawa gave his remarks.
