The Japan-America Society of Southern Colorado (JASSC) held a Japanese Cultural Festival and Bazaar at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (November 4, 2023)



On Saturday, November 4, the Japan-America Society of Southern Colorado (JASSC) held a Japanese Cultural Festival and Bazaar at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
After a speech by Wayne Stout, President of JASSC, Sanshin, Shakuhachi, Karate, Kobudo, Yosakoi, and Taiko performances took place on the stage. There was also an Ikebana display and many Japan-related booths, which were enjoyed by the numerous visitors.
The Consulate-General of Japan was invited, and Consul-General Mikami Yoichi and other Consulate-General staff attended the event. The Consulate-General also had a booth to introduce the JET program and tourism in Japan.
