The Colorado Japanese Language Education Association (CJLEA) hosted its Fall 2023 Workshop Assembly in Centennial (November 4, 2023)

On Saturday, November 4, the CJLEA (Colorado Japanese Language Education Association) hosted the Fall 2023 Workshop Assembly. It featured an address by CJLEA President Hisaaki Wake, as well as workshops and a business meeting. Ms. Mieko Avello, who is the Vice President of AATJ (American Association of Teachers of Japanese), spoke about the revitalization of Japanese language education for Generation Z, focusing on individuality and digital skills after the pandemic. A lively exchange of opinions took place.

Consulate-General of Japan was also invited to the event, and Consul-General Mikami Yoichi attended and learned from the morning sessions. It was a wonderful event with a lively exchange of ideas and opinions.
