Commendation of the Consul-General of Japan in Denver for JET Alumni Association of The Rocky Mountains (March 1, 2024)

On March 1, 2024, the ceremony for the Commendation of the Consul-General of Japan in Denver was held at the residence of the Consul-General. Consul-General Mikami presented the Commendation to JET Alumni Association of The Rocky Mountains.

 

JET Alumni Association of The Rocky Mountains members, as well as the Littleton Mayor Kyle Schlachter, representative from the Colorado State Government, the Denver City Government, the Japan America Society of Colorado, US JET Program Alumni Association and the Sakura Square LLC attended the ceremony among other attendees.

 

The Commendation of the Consul-General of Japan is awarded to recognize the achievements of individuals and groups that have made significant contributions to the performance of their diplomatic missions abroad including the promotion of mutual understanding and friendship, the development of the external economy, the promotion of public relations and cultural activities, and the performance of consular duties.
