Artistic and Archaeological explorations of internment gardens, featuring the Amache Japanese-American internment camp, is currently being held at Denver University from April 15 to June 17.
On April 24, a lecture was held by Lily Havey, an artist and a former internee of the Amache Japanese-American internment camp moderated by Bonnie Clark, Professor, Department of Anthropology University of Denver.
The Consulate-General of Japan was also invited, and MIKAMI Yoichi, Consul-General of Japan in Denver, Consul FURUTANI Keiko, and Ms. Eilers Tomie attended.
