“Japanese Sake Tasting and Traditional Music” hosted by the Japan-America Society of Wyoming (June 6, 2024)



On June 6, “Japanese Sake Tasting and Traditional Music” was hosted by the Japan-America Society of Wyoming along with the Japan Outreach Initiative Coordinator at University of Wyoming and The Still Package Liquor and Republic National Distributing Company at Laramie Railroad Depot.
The opening ceremony included remarks by William Plumb, President of the Japan-America Society of Wyoming, followed by a Koto and Shamisen performance, after which about 90 visitors enjoyed sake tasting. Yuki Ayukawa, JOI coordinator, attended the event.
Consulate-General of Japan in Denver was invited and Consul-General MIKAMI Yoichi and Consul FURUTANI Keiko attended the event.
