Commemoration Ceremony for the 25th Anniversary of the Tsuyama-Santa Fe Sister City Relationship (October 21, 2024)

On October 21, Tsuyama Mayor Keizo Taniguchi, Tsuyama City Council Chairperson Kanichi Nakashima, and members of the Tsuyama delegation attended the 25th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of the Tsuyama-Santa Fe Sister City Relationship, held in the Santa Fe City Council Chambers, New Mexico.

During the ceremony, Mayor Alan Webber of Santa Fe, Mayor Taniguchi, and Chairperson Nakashima signed a declaration reaffirming the friendship and relationship fostered through the sister city exchange and committed to further enhancing mutual exchanges. Both mayors, Chairperson Nakashima, and Mr. Kunio Fukuda, President and Editor of Tsuyama Asahi Shimbun also gave speeches.

The Consulate-General was also invited with Deputy Consul-General Isamu Azechi attending and giving short remarks.
