Reception for JET Returnees (October 25, 2024)

On October 25, 2024, the Consulate-General of Japan in Denver hosted the JET Returnees Reception.

The reception was attended by participants of the Japan Exchange Teaching Program (JET) who recently returned to the United States, members of the JET Alumni Association of The Rocky Mountains (JETAARM), and representatives from the Colorado State Government, Denver City Government, Japan-America Society of Colorado, Sakura Foundation, World Trade Center Denver, Asian Chamber of Commerce, and JBAR.

At the reception, Consul-General Mikami, JETAARM President David LaCharite, and JET returnee Janeen Plomondo gave remarks, followed by a toast by Derek Okubo, President of the Japan-America Society of Colorado.
