Japan America Society of Colorado Hosts “Japan Currents: Colorado-Japan Aerospace Connections” (February 13, 2025)



On Thursday, February 13th, the Japan America Society of Colorado hosted an event on Japan-Colorado aerospace relations (“Japan Currents: Colorado-Japan Aerospace Connections”). Colorado Governor Jared Polis attended and gave remarks.
The event featured a panel discussion by Japanese companies active in the aerospace industry in Colorado, which led to a lively discussion on private sector cooperation between Japan and Colorado in the aerospace industry. Additional remarks were provided by Emma Chanlett-Avery, Vice Chair for the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS) Board of Directors, Stephanie Garnica, President of the Japan-America Society of Colorado, and Consul-General Okajima.
