The 20th International Manga Award opened for entries on April 15th.
The International Manga Award was established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan in 2007 with the aim of promoting international exchange and mutual understanding through the spread of manga culture from Japan to the rest of the world, and honors manga artists who contribute to the spread of manga culture overseas.
