Annual Japanese & Japanese American Community Picnic a Huge Success (August 10, 2025)

The Annual Japanese & Japanese American Community Picnic, hosted by Nikkeijinkai, took place on Sunday, August 10th at Berkeley Lake Park.

A delicious spread of food was enjoyed by all, featuring lovingly prepared onigiri, juicy hot dogs, and the hearty Yamagata specialty, imo-ni. The event was a vibrant celebration, filled with the warm smiles and laughter of people from all generations within the community.

Consul-General Okajima and staff from the Consulate-General of Japan in Denver, along with their families, were delighted to participate and share in the fun.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Glen Tagawa, President of the Nikkeijinkai, all the members of Nikkeijinkai,and the dedicated volunteers whose hard work and dedication made this wonderful picnic a resounding success.
