The 25th Annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival (September 6-7, 2025)

The 25th annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival, held the weekend of September 6–7 at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver, was a great success, attracting many participants and spectators.

Numerous distinguished guests attended the opening ceremony, including U.S. Representative Diana DeGette. This year featured a special highlight: to commemorate the 25th anniversary, guests participated as paddlers on a dragon boat. Consul-General Okajima also joined this meaningful event fostering Asian solidarity.

The “Nichi-Bei-Go” team from the Japan America Society of Colorado entered as Japan's representative, putting up a fierce fight. While the Nichi-Bei-Go finished milliseconds behind the top teams, they demonstrated outstanding teamwork and passion! To all the athletes and everyone involved, well done!
