Ikebana International – Denver Chapter 66 Holds Sunflower Exhibition (September 18-19, 2025)

On Thursday, September 18th and Friday, September 19th, the Denver Chapter of Ikebana International held a sunflower ikebana exhibition at the Denver Botanic Gardens (Mitchell Hall).
Ikebana International is a global non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and appreciating the traditional Japanese art of ikebana. Established in Denver in 1962, Denver Chapter 66 has fostered community exchange through ikebana for over 60 years.
This exhibition featured over twenty works, each expressing the theme of sunflowers in diverse styles. Many visitors were captivated by the beauty and artistry of the ikebana. On the 18th, Consul-General Okajima visited the venue, viewed the works, and learned about the chapter's activities.
We look forward to the continued evolution of cultural exchange between Japan and the United States through ikebana.
