Luncheon with the Governors of Wyoming and Utah on Energy Industry (November 12, 2025)

On Wednesday, November 12th, as part of the 42nd Annual Governor's Conference hosted by the Wyoming Business Alliance in Laramie, WY, a luncheon was held by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon to engage in exchanges with Japan. Gov. Gordon and members of the Wyoming Governor's Office along with Utah Governor Spencer Cox attended the luncheon, and Consul-General Okajima, Chief Executive Director Ms. Kanako Watanabe of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) San Francisco, and representatives of Japanese companies active in either state also joined. A candid and enthusiastic exchange took place on the cooperation between Japan and both states in the energy industry.
