Discussion with NDK Board Members (September 22, 2026)

On September 22, Consul-General Hiroyuki Okajima welcomed members of the Nan Desu Kan (NDK) board to the Consul-General’s residence for a discussion. We congratulated them on another successful NDK this year and expressed our sincere appreciation for the efforts of all staff and volunteers.

NDK goes beyond being an event for anime and game fans; it serves as a wonderful platform for introducing Japanese culture in a broad and deep way, while also contributing greatly to the preservation of Japanese American history and the creation of a welcoming space where people from diverse generations and backgrounds can truly be themselves. During the discussion, participants exchanged memories and stories about NDK, and also shared that preparations for next year’s event have already begun.

As NDK celebrates its 30th anniversary next year, we look forward to the milestone and hope to continue working closely together in the future.
