International Leadership Foundation (ILF) Colorado Chapter Event (October 3, 2026)

On October 3, Consul-General Hiroyuki Okajima attended the 2026 Leadership Networking Event hosted by the Colorado Chapter of the International Leadership Foundation (ILF).

ILF is a nonprofit organization that promotes civic awareness, public service, and economic effectiveness within the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community. Following welcoming remarks by Jian Pu, Colorado Chapter Chair, the event featured introductions of the chapter’s board members, including Shiou Jefferson, Founder & Honorary Chair of ILF Colorado. Keynote addresses were made by Chiling Tong, ILF Founding President & President/CEO of Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ACE), and Joel Szabat, ILF Founder & former Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation. Judge Joe Jefferson, former Mayor of Englewood, State Representatives Anthony Hartsook (District 44) and Kenny Nguyen (District 33), among other guests, also delivered remarks.
