Sponsored by the Consulate General of Japan in Denver and the Japan America Society of Colorado, a luncheon presentation given by Keio University Professor Toshihiro Nakayama, Ph.D. was held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:30am-1:00pm. The lecture topic was "How Japan Sees America's Role in Asia-Pacific" in which Professor Nakayama talked about the history of the relationship between Japan and America, the progress of the Japan-America Alliance, and why the Alliance is so important. The lecture proved successful in that approximately 100 persons attended and it provided opportunity for intellectual exchange on an international level.
