Greeting Reception hosted by Consul General of Japan in Denver Makoto Ito (May 19, 2015)
Greeting Reception was held in a downtown Denver hotel on May 19, 2015, hosted by Consul General of Japan in Denver Makoto Ito, with around 120 guests ranging from federal, state and local governments sector, U.S. military services, Consular Corps in Denver, and eminent people from various fields.
Denver Deputy Mayor Cary Kennedy expressed welcome to newly appointed Consul General Ito, then a welcome toast was made by Mr. Eric Hiraga, President of the Japan America Society of Colorado.
Consul General Ito expressed in his speech that he wish to enforce economic and cultural aspect further in promoting friendly cooperation relation between Japan and Colorado & Rocky Mountain Region, and do his best to continue providing quality services for Japanese citizens and developing strong relations with the local Japanese-American community.
