Sakura Matsuri 2015 (June 27th and 28th,2015)

The annual Sakura Matsuri festival was held at Sakura Square in downtown Denver on Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th.  The festival featured a variety of booths with full of Japanese goods and food, and drew plenty of visitors to Sakura Square, the symbolic place for the Japanese community in this region.
Bonsai and Ikebana exhibitions were held in the Denver Buddhist Temple, as were more booths for Japanese foods and handicrafts run by volunteers.  On the special street stage outside, the audiences enjoyed a variety of traditional Japanese cultural entertainment and demonstrations, such as Japanese dance, martial arts, and musical performances of Taiko drumming, shakuhachi, and koto.
