Consul General visit to the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado Boulder(July 17, 2015)

Consul General Ito visited the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado Boulder on Friday, July 17, 2015 and exchanged views with Laboratory Director, Dr. Daniel Baker. Dr. Baker explained about LASP's active exchanges with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), other educational institutions and businesses, and said that there is still greater potential to cooperate with Japan.
Consul General Ito said that LASP is at the front line of university space research and that he has the highest respect for the exchanges it conducts in the fields of research, development, and industry. He expressed his gratitude toward LASP for cooperating with Japanese research institutions and businesses, and said that he has high hopes for the further development of a cooperative relationship between LASP and Japan.
