Consul-General Ito Attends Japan America Society of Colorado Board Meeting (November 17, 2015)

On Tuesday, November 17th, Consul-General Ito attended as a guest speaker the Japanese America Society of Colorado (JASC) Board Meeting held at the Wells Fargo Bank conference room. As a Consul-General of Japan, he provided an overview of Japan's foreign policies, which included the proactive movement of recent U.S.-Japan exchanges that focus on mutual VIP visits from both countries, the importance of the recent broad agreement of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and its advantage, and the importance of Japan's appropriate relationship toward China and North Korea. The attending JASC board members said they were able to gain a deeper understanding of Japanese foreign diplomacy and expressed their gratitude for the Consul-General's participation.
