Lecture at International Business school at Colorado University of Denver (March 8, 2016)

Responding to an invitation from the University of Colorado Denver, Consul General Ito gave a 35-minute lecture focusing on “Japan-U.S. and Japan-Colorado Relations” on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. There were approximately 50 attendees at the lecture including University of Colorado Denver faculty members and students and business affiliates in Colorado.
The Consul General talked about the history of Japan-U.S. relations, the diplomatic and economic relationship between Japan and the United States including the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), Japan’s relations with neighboring countries, Japan’s security policy and economic policy (Abenomics), and Colorado-Japan relations (economic, cultural and VIP mutual visits). In the end, there was a lively Q&A session that concluded the lecture.
