Consul-General Visits Laramie, Wyoming(April 1, 2016)

On Friday, April 1, 2016, Consul-General Ito visited Laramie, Wyoming and met with Mayor Dave Paulekas, University of Wyoming Center for Global Studies Director, Dr. Jean Garrison and other affiliates and exchanged opinions on how to promote relations between Japan and Laramie. Mayor Paulekas expressed his desire to attract Japanese tourists to Laramie and expand student exchanges.

The Consul-General also met with Professor Paula Lutz, Dean of Arts and Sciences. Consul-General Ito expressed that he hopes for further activity in academic exchanges and continuation of Japanese language education. In response, Dean Lutz talked about the importance of mutual exchange between students.
