On Thursday, April 28th, Consul-General Ito visited Colorado State University (CSU). He paid a courtesy visit to Provost and Executive Vice President Dr. Rick Miranda, Vice Provost for International Affairs Dr. Jim Cooney, and Foreign Languages and Literatures Department Chair Dr. Mary Vogl and discussed how to strengthen relations with Japan in the future. Professor Masako Beecken who teaches Japanese language at CSU also attended the meeting.
Later, the Consul-General gave a "Japan-U.S. Relations, Japan-Colorado Relations" lecture to approximately 70 students, followed by a Q&A session that produced a lively discussion.
