Consul-General Attends World Trade Day Event (May 19, 2016)

On Tuesday, May 19th, Consul-General Ito received an invitation to and attended the 43rd World Trade Day event held at the Infinity Park Event Center in Glendale.
At the event, the Honorable Tom Vilsack, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture made the keynote speech where he described the importance of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the roles of the TPP on security in the Asian area.
The Consulate supported this event through distributing information about the economic situation and culture of Japan in the established booth located in the main event premise.
