Consul-General Attends Dragon Film Festival (May 20, 2016)

On Friday, May 20th, Consul-General Ito attended the opening ceremony for the Dragon Film Festival at the Auraria Campus in Denver. At the ceremony, Consul-General Ito commended the holding of the first Asian-related film festival in Colorado. He also said that film is a very effective media to understand Japanese culture and hopes the audience will gain more interest in Japan though this festival.
After the ceremony, the festival showed "Uzumasa Limelight" and had a panel discussion with the film director, Mr. Ken Ochiai that was followed by a lively Q&A session.
