On Wednesday and Thursday, May 25-26th, the 23-member Keidanren (Japan Economic Federation) Delegation visited Colorado and met with several Colorado officials. The Colorado officials included the Governor, the Executive Director of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), the Mayor of Denver, the Executive Director of the Denver Office of Economic Development, the President of the Colorado Chamber of Commerce, a representative from Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, the President of Denver International Airport (DIA), the President of the Japan America Society of Colorado (JASC) in addition to other political and economic affiliates. At the meetings, the delegation exchanged opinions with their hosts about the Trans-Pacific Partnership and how to further strengthen Colorado’s economic relations. In response, Colorado officials and representatives said they have very high hopes for the Keidanren and Japanese companies' advancement and investment into the Colorado market.
