NAFSA Annual Conference (June 1, 2016)

On Wednesday, June 1st, the National Association of Foreign Student Affairs (NAFSA) Annual Conference was held at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. In the expo hall, there was a Japanese booth that held a promotional event called Study in Japan Reception. Consul-General Ito attended this event and in his remarks he commended the holding of the conference in Denver and expressed his high hopes for foreign students and researchers to visit Japan to gain a higher education and research opportunities.
The NAFSA Annual Conference is held every year in May in different regions of the U.S. to promote international education and exchange. This year, 59 organizations from Japan participated in the conference.
