Consul-General gives Japan-related lecture at CU Boulder Center for Asian Studies(July 15, 2016)

On Friday, July 15th, Consul-General Ito gave a Japan-related lecture at a training workshop for nation-wide high school social science teachers that was sponsored by and held at the University of Colorado Boulder Center for Asian Studies. Following Professor Lynn Parisi’s opening remarks, the Consul-General spent approximately 40 minutes talking about the current situation of Japan-U.S. relations, the current status of Japan's national security cooperation, the situation in Asia and Japan's involvement, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), counterterrorism policies/measures, and Japan-Colorado relations. The lecture concluded with many questions from the audience.
