Members of the Japanese House of Representatives Standing Committee for Security visit Colorado Springs, CO (July 20, 2016)

On Wednesday, July 20th, a delegation from the Japanese House of Representatives Standing Committee for Security visited Colorado Springs, Colorado to visit the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD)/U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM) and the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA). The delegation consisted of four members: Chairman Mr. Akira Sato and Directors Mr. Itsunori Onodera, Mr. Akinori Eto, and Mr. Yuichiro Tamaki. At each location, the delegation was briefed then engaged in a lively opinion exchange on NORAD's role in U.S. national security policies and the Academy's educational policies and system respectively.
