English Language Teaching Skill Course Participants pay Courtesy Visit to Consul-General (July 28, 2016)

On Monday, July 11th, Consul-General Ito attended the opening ceremony of the English Language Teaching Skill Course that was being held at the University of Denver. The teaching course is organized by the National Center for Teacher’s Development located in Ibaraki, Japan and 13 teachers participated in the course. In his remarks, the Consul-General offered words of welcome and encouragement to the teachers.

On Monday, July 28th, the Consul-General received a courtesy visit from the participating teachers. They explained they are receiving training on teaching methods and will study hard in order to help improve English language education in Japan. In response, Consul-General Ito said he hopes they will continue to contribute to international and academic exchanges between Japan and the U.S..
