Consul-General attends Okinawa Kenjinkai 42nd Anniversary Ceremony(August 13, 2016)

On Saturday, August 13th, Consul-General Ito attended the Colorado Okinawa Kenjinkai 42nd Anniversary Ceremony in Castle Rock, Colorado. The Consul-General gave remarks in which he offered his respect toward the Kenjinkai's activity and efforts, and he also deepened his friendship with the members. As part of the ceremony, the members put on a show of traditional Okinawan dance and folk songs.
Kenjinkai President, Ms. Tina Hughes said the Kenjinkai will continue to make efforts toward the future inheritance of traditional Okinawan culture in addition to mutual friendship among members.
