Japanese Fashion Exhibit(September 7, 2016)

On Wednesday, September 7th, the Denver Art Museum (DAM) opened the Japanese Fashion Exhibit "Shock Wave". Consul-General Ito attended the opening ceremony, to which about 200 guests attended. For the ceremony, Museum Director Mr. Christoph Heinrich, Avenir Foundation Curator of Textile Art, Curator of Fashion Ms. Florence Müller, and Consul-General Ito gave welcome remarks.
The exhibit showcases items of Japanese designers from the 80’s and 90’s, and also touches on how they influenced Western designers’ creations.
