Consul-General Ito with Kirtland AFB Vice Commander Col. Dawn A. Nickell
On Monday, September 19th, Consul-General Ito visited Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico and met with base vice commander, Colonel Dawn A. Nickell. They exchanged opinions on recent Japan-U.S. relations and the cooperative relationship toward regional security. In response, Vice Commander Nickell explained the current situation on Kirtland and expressed the desire to maintain a wide range of cooperative relations with Japan.
