Remarks by Consul-General Ito Karate demonstration Koto and Shamisen performance
On Saturday, September 24th, Consul-General Ito attended the Festival of Japan held at Laramie High School in Laramie, Wyoming. This event is hosted by the Japan America Society of Wyoming and is meant to introduce Japanese culture to the local community. The festival included but was not limited to a karate demonstration, koto and shamisen performance, Japanese drum performance and a Japanese foods bazaar. Many people attended making it a very lively event.
