Denver Taiko 40th Anniversary Concert (October 8-9, 2016)

On Saturday, October 8th and Sunday, October 9th, the Denver Taiko 40th Anniversary Concert was held at the University of Denver Newman Center. The purpose of the concert was to celebrate the efforts and achievements of the Japanese-American community associated with Denver Taiko. Approximately 300 people such as Japanese nationals residing in Colorado and the U.S., Japanese-American association representatives, and local citizens along with Consul-General and Mrs. Ito attended the event. The program featured a number of taiko performances in addition to a dance performed by a local Indian dance school.
