Consul-General Hosts Conferment Ceremony for Judge Kerry Steven Hada (February 1, 2018)

     On Thursday, February 1st, the 2017 Autumn Conferment Ceremony was held at the Official Residence where Judge Kerry Steven Hada was presented with the Imperial Decoration of The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays. Judge Hada is a former Judge of the City and County of Denver, former President of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association Colorado, and former Board member of the Japanese American National Museum.

     Guests included Judge Hada’s family, friends and colleagues. Consul-General Hirakoba opened the ceremony by offering congratulatory remarks. After being presented with his decoration, Judge Hada shared a few words on receiving this prestigious award.
