Consul-General Takeuchi pays courtesy visit to Utah Governor Gary Herbert (May 17, 2019)

On Thursday, May 17, 2019, Consul-General Midori Takeuchi paid a courtesy visit to Utah Governor Gary Herbert.
Consul-General Takeuchi expressed her respect to Governor Herbert for his long time service as Utah Governor, and exchanged views on various relations between Japan and Utah including economic and human exchange to further develop a good relationship.
Governor Herbert welcomed her arrival in Denver, appreciated the contribution of Japanese companies in Utah to the local economy and employment, and stated that he would like to further strengthen relations
between Japan and Utah with an opportunity to visit Japan with a Utah trade mission in September 2019.
