Consul-General Visits University of Denver (April 28 and May 2 , 2016)

On Thursday, April 28th, Consul-General Ito visited University of Denver (DU) to attend a reporting session by the 25 students who visited Japan in March this year through the Kakehashi Project. In his remarks, the Consul-General said he hopes the students will apply their experiences to their future studies. After the presentations, he mingled with the students to hear more about their impressions of Japan. Professor Frank Laird, Associate Dean of  Academic Affairs also attended the event.
On Monday, May 2nd, Consul-General Ito visited DU again and met with Japanese Program Coordinator Ms. Orna Shaughnessy, students studying Japanese language and student members of the Japanese Culture Club and exchanged opinions about the popularization of Japanese culture.
